Mentoring is one of the oldest and most effective means for character and leadership development. By definition: mentoring is a relational experience in which one person (the mentor) empowers another (the mentored) by sharing God-given resources.

Ken has been a pastor and/or chaplain since 1980. He is a peacemaker and tries to understand both sides of complex issues. He loves bargain travel, nature, hiking, books, relationships that can go deep, and sports. He also enjoys listening without judgement.
Jane finds that beauty draws the heart toward God. Art Museums
are like cathedrals to her. She likes creating holy space and listening long. She is a spiritual director and has certificates in Enneagram and StrengthsFinder coaching. She likes a strong French Roast, drawing and a good book.
Jane likes to have coffee with friends, who say she is a good listener. She finds that connecting with God through nature is life giving. Water, trees, and flowers are her favorites, and she often takes pictures of them.
KEN & JANE BURG
The Burgs have been married since 2000. This is Jane's first marriage and Ken's second. His first wife died when the kids were 7 and 10. Sarah and Matt are now both married. They have known the challenges of a blended family and the joy of resilience. They value their wonderful friends, travel, reading, and have their best talks while driving.

They have been married to each other for a little over two years and are delighted with their relationship, even though it has a few challenges along the way. They enjoy time together camping, hiking, eating good food, photography, and watching a couple favorite TV shows.
BRIAN & TRACI PARKINSON
They fell in love, married within 6 months of dating and welcomed their first born 10 months later. They had 4 kids in less than 6 years (crazy right?) 27 years laters and empty-nesters, they are enjoying spending quality time together. They love working out together, being outdoors, trying new places to eat, and traveling. Their favorite way to spend time is hanging out with their kids.
